Wanda Cinema’s revenue increased to 1.98 billion yuan in the first half of the year, up 35% year-on-year, according to the report on its sales assessment meeting for the first half of 2013.

Held on July 12, the meeting reviewed work in the first half of the year, reported the sales target status, and made deployments for the second half of the year.

The first half of the year witnessed a booming domestic film market. Wanda Cinema seized the opportunity to innovate its marketing strategy and make precision marketing solutions.

E-marketing sales surpassed 220 million yuan, contributing to more than 15% of total sales volume.

Attendants also did case studies on outstanding and underperforming cinemas and discussed management issues raised by regional general managers.
